Peter A. Muhic
Peter A. Muhic is a Shareholder located at the Philadelphia Office. He concentrates his practice in complex consumer protection, employee benefits & ERISA, product defects, mass tort, insurance, and employment cases. Mr. Muhic has tried cases to verdict in six states and has significant litigation, arbitration, and appellate experience throughout the country.
Mr. Muhic has served in a leadership position in numerous class and collective actions and has assisted in recovering hundreds of millions of dollars in damages for investors, consumers, and employees asserting claims under RICO, ERISA, FLSA, and numerous state consumer protection statutes and common law causes of action.
Prior to joining Berger Montague, Mr. Muhic was a partner of Kessler Topaz Meltzer Check LLP, practicing in the ERISA and Consumer Department, a partner in the Philadelphia, PA office of Cozen O’Connor, and a founding partner of LeVan Muhic Stapleton LLC, where he prosecuted class and collective actions and complex commercial litigation.
Mr. Muhic is a graduate of Syracuse University, where he was a Maxwell School of Citizenship scholarship recipient and obtained dual degrees in Finance and Marketing, Temple University Beasley School of Law, where he graduated with honors and served as Managing Editor of the Temple Law Review, was a member of the Moot Court Honor Society and Finalist in the I. Herman Stern Competition and studied abroad at the University of Athens.
