Biography

Ian Literovich is a litigation associate primarily practicing in securities and competition claims. Mr. Literovich has extensive experience in commercial litigation and dispute resolution in provincial and federal court, having litigated claims relating to fraud, mortgage enforcement, tax disputes, shareholder disputes, real property issues, and cryptocurrency financing.

Mr. Literovich has served as class counsel for a series of shareholder class actions across Canada, including as part of class counsel in leading decisions in Ontario and Alberta. Mr. Literovich has served as lead trial counsel before the Tax Court of Canada, and is a successful advocate both in court and in mediation.

Mr. Literovich is a graduate of Osgoode Hall Law School, and holds a Masters of Global Affairs from the University of Toronto’s Munk School of Global Affairs.

Prior to practicing law, Mr. Literovich conducted research on counterinsurgency policy, both as a Visiting Scholar at the NATO Defence College in Rome, Italy, and through field research in Kingston, Jamaica as related to policing policy as against entrenched and militarized organized crime eleme
