Berger Montague Named a 2019 “Elite Trial Lawyers” Finalist in Four Practice Areas by The National Law Journal

Berger Montague is proud to announce that the Firm has been named a 2019 “Elite Trial Lawyers” finalist by The National Law Journal in four areas of law – Antitrust, Consumer Protection, Pharmaceutical Litigation, and Product Liability. The winners for each category will be announced at the Elite Trial Lawyers Awards Reception on July 18, 2019, at Lotte New York Palace in New York City.

Editors and reporters from The National Law Journal and its parent company, ALM, reviewed more than 300 submissions across more than 20 categories to arrive at its list of finalists. According to The National Law Journal: “The lawyers and law firms selected this year have demonstrated repeated success in cutting-edge work on behalf of plaintiffs over the last 18 months. They also possess a solid track record of client wins over the past three to five years.”

The nomination criteria included that a firm score at least one significant plaintiff’s win between January 1, 2018, and April 1, 2019. A “significant win” meant prevailing in a bench or jury trial or in a major settlement in which the stakes were high.

Cases from Berger Montague’s Antitrust, Consumer Protection, Credit Reporting and Background Checks, Defective Products, and Whistleblower, Qui Tam & False Claims Act practice groups were highlighted in the award submission.
