Biography
Julie is a Paralegal for the firm’s FCRA Department. Her responsibilities include drafting pleadings and discovery, proofreading documents, filing documents in federal court, and providing case support throughout all phases of litigation. Over the course of approximately 19 years, Julie previously worked as a Paralegal/Manager for two consumer rights law firms based in Michigan. These law firms represented Plaintiffs whose rights were violated under the Fair Credit Reporting Act and Fair Debt Collection Practices Act. Julie was involved in every aspect of these cases. Some of her responsibilities included reviewing and identifying violations of the Fair Credit Reporting Act on consumers’ credit reports, drafting dispute letters, analyzing dispute results, drafting pleadings and discovery, and e-filing in federal courts.
Julie obtained her Associate in Applied Science Degree with a Paralegal major from Oakland Community College where she graduated with honors. She also obtained a Bachelor of Arts where she majored in Legal Administration from the University of Detroit Mercy and graduated with honors. Julie works remotely from her office in Michigan.
