Kyle A. Jacobsen

Biography

Kyle A. Jacobsen is a Senior Counsel in Berger Montague’s Antitrust and Securities Practice Groups. Mr. Jacobsen is based out of the Firm’s Philadelphia headquarters.

Mr. Jacobsen has more than a decade of experience working on a variety of complex civil and criminal matters, including antitrust multi-district litigations, securities fraud and related derivative actions, various commercial cases, and white-collar investigations.

Prior to joining Berger Montague, Mr. Jacobsen worked at two other leading plaintiff’s firms. His practice concentrated on nationwide antitrust cases as well as catastrophic injury cases (products liability, medical malpractice, sexual assault, wrongful death, etc.). Mr. Jacobsen has helped recover several tens of millions of dollars for victims and their families. Prior to doing plaintiff’s work, Mr. Jacobsen worked at a large national defense firm where he worked on antitrust, securities, and white-collar matters.

Before entering private practice, Mr. Jacobsen spent two years clerking for the Honorable Mitchell S. Goldberg in the U.S. District Court for the Eastern District of Pennsylvania.

Mr. Jacobsen graduated cum laude from Temple University’s Beasley School of Law and earned his undergraduate degree from Penn State University’s Smeal College of Business. During law school, he interned for U.S. District Court Judges Juan R. Sánchez and L. Felipe Restrepo of the Eastern District of Pennsylvania, and the United States Attorney’s Office for the Eastern District of Pennsylvania. Mr. Jacobsen also served as a staff member and note/comment editor for the Temple Law Review.
