Biography
Prior to joining the Firm, Lavanya Prabhakar completed a two-year public interest fellowship at a boutique plaintiff-side class action firm in its Oakland, CA office. Her practice there focused on consumer class actions brought under California law, including the UCL and CLRA, and data privacy class actions.
Lavanya graduated cum laude from Northwestern Pritzker School of Law. While in law school, she served as the Deputy Editor-in-Chief of the Northwestern Journal of Law and Social Policy, Chapter President of the American Constitution Society, and was a student attorney in the Bluhm Legal Clinic. Prior to law school, Lavanya worked in political research for electoral campaigns and non-profit organizations.
