Biography
Soledad Slowing-Romero is an associate in the Wage and Hour Group at the Firm’s Minneapolis, MN office. Ms. Slowing-Romero received her law degree from Yale Law School. She has accepted a clerkship with the Honorable John R. Tunheim on the United States District Court for the District of Minnesota beginning in Fall of 2026.
At Yale, Ms. Slowing-Romero was a participant in the Worker and Immigrant Rights Advocacy Clinic, where she worked on both advocacy and litigation matters related to low-wage immigrant worker movements. She served on the boards of the Latine Law Students Association and the Law and Political Economy group. She was also a Student Editor of the Global Constitutionalism Seminar. Prior to law school, Ms. Slowing-Romero worked as a Paralegal at a Civil Rights Litigation Boutique in New York, NY. Ms. Slowing-Romero received her undergraduate degree in History and Latin American Studies, magna cum laude, from Amherst College in Amherst, MA.
