Biography

Berna Lee is Counsel in the firm’s Antitrust Group. She brings substantial experience litigating complex, high-stakes matters, with particular depth in discovery and the management of large-scale productions.  

Prior to joining Berger Montague, Ms. Lee was a staff attorney at a prominent class action and complex litigation firm, where she worked on behalf of consumers, challenged anticompetitive conduct, and promoted corporate accountability. She helped drive case strategy, coordinated multi-party discovery, and oversaw high-volume productions across various e-discovery platforms.  Earlier in her career, she was an associate at a large New York law firm, focusing on complex litigation.  

Ms. Lee graduated cum laude from Georgetown University Law Center, where she served on the Georgetown Journal of Legal Ethics and presented oral argument before a federal appeals court as a member of the Appellate Litigation Clinic. During law school, she interned for the Honorable Gladys Kessler of the U.S. District Court for the District of Columbia and helped launch the Asian Pacific American Legal Resource Center.   Before attending law school, Ms. Lee earned her undergraduate degree in English Literature at Dartmouth College and worked at a nonprofit in New York City providing advocacy services to individuals living with HIV.
