Biography

Tamara McFarlane is Counsel in Berger Montague’s Antitrust Department, where she drives factual development and e-discovery strategy in the Firm’s complex, large-scale class action litigation. Ms. McFarlane focuses on using advanced legal technology and data analysis to streamline document review and build defensible, evidence-based factual narratives.

Before joining Berger Montague, Ms. McFarlane served as a Senior Review Attorney for clients involved in mass tort, products liability, and antitrust litigation. In a matter involving a client sued over its securitization of residential mortgages, her transcription of audio files enabled outside counsel to uncover critical evidence, create a chronology, and prepare for witness interviews. She also managed the collection of electronically stored information and hard-copy documents for a bellwether county client in the national opioid multidistrict litigation. Ms. McFarlane earned her J.D. from The Dickinson School of Law and her Bachelor of Science in Urban Policy Studies, with a specialization in Public Policy, cum laude, from Georgia State University.
