On August 4, 2025, Plaintiffs Ronnie Ford, Ronald Russel, and Timothy Smith filed a class action against Mercedes-Benz Group on behalf of themselves and non-exempt hourly employees of Mercedes-Benz Group under the Fair Labor Standards Act (“FLSA”), and South Carolina Payment of Wages Act (“SCPWA”) for allegedly not paying the Plaintiffs for all hours worked. Specifically, the Plaintiffs allege that they were not paid for meal breaks and “off-the-clock” work before and after their shifts, including donning and doffing Personal Protective Equipment (PPE).
