The defendants included ArcelorMittal and ArcelorMittal USA, Inc., U.S. Steel, Nucor Corporation, Gerdau Ameristeel Corporation, Steel Dynamics, Inc., AK Steel Holding Corporation, SSAB Swedish Steel Corporation (the successor entity to IPSCO, Inc.), and Commercial Metals Company. The case was litigated in the United States District Court for the Northern District of Illinois and captioned In Re: Steel Antitrust Litigation, No. 1:08-cv-5214 (N.D. Ill.).
