U.F.C.W. Local 56 v. Campbell Soup – ERISA Class Action Settlement

Berger Montague served as class counsel and obtained a $114.5 million settlement for retired Campbell Soup employees in this class action to preserve and restore retiree medical benefits. The plaintiffs alleged that the defendant engaged in breaches of fiduciary duty established by the Employee Retirement Income Security Act of 1974 (“ERISA”), as well as other ERISA violations.
