Biography

Jennifer Elwell is Senior Counsel with Berger Montague’s Philadelphia office. Since joining the firm, Jennifer has played a significant role in their Mass Tort group, representing thousands of individuals who have sustained serious injuries caused by defective and harmful consumer products and medical devices in multi-district litigations.

Jennifer also represents hundreds of survivors of sexual and physical abuse with claims against an institution that received juvenile court-adjudicated teenage boys. She has represented employees of an international corporation with claims of workplace discrimination that resulted in a confidential settlement.

Prior to joining Berger Montague, Jennifer worked at a leading plaintiff’s class action law firm in their consumer protection group that brought cases in state and federal courts across the country. Before that, she worked at national defense firms in practice groups that represented pharmaceutical companies involved in U.S. Department of Justice investigations and multi-district litigation.

Jennifer received her J.D. from Temple University Beasley School of Law where she was a member of the Temple Law Review and recipient of their Outstanding Oral Argument Award. She received her undergraduate degree from Villanova University.
