Jean Hibray is a Paralegal, and the Office Manager for the Minneapolis office. Jean has worked for Berger Montague since 2016, and has been a paralegal for Shareholder E. Michelle Drake since 2010. She is responsible for the day-to-day operations of the Minneapolis office, as well as a paralegal caseload with a focus on Fair Credit Reporting Act and Consumer Protection cases, across multiple jurisdictions.
Jean has an ABA-approved Paralegal Certificate from the Minnesota Paralegal Institute (2010), as well as a B.A. in Political Science-Legal Studies from the University of Wisconsin- Eau Claire (2009).
Jean is currently a member of the firm’s IT Committee, as well as the International Legal Technology Association, a volunteer for Mid-Minnesota Legal Aid, and previously served as a Co-Chair of the Minnesota Paralegal Association’s Consumer Law Section (2015).
Case Intake Analyst
Madeleine Hudak is a Case Intake Analyst for the Firm’s Consumer Protection Department. She conducts interviews with potential clients, identifies class representative candidates, obtains relevant documents, and maintains communication with potential and retained clients. She is further responsible for organizing and maintaining case records, as well as preparing pertinent reports, drafting memos and other written materials to aid attorneys throughout the litigation process. In addition, she conducts legal research and maintains narrative documents compiled through relevant case facts.
Ms. Hudak has experience in a wide range of litigation matters through her work in jury consulting including personal injury, wrongful death, medical malpractice, product liability, contract disputes, automobile/trucking accidents, construction, and labor and employment.
Ms. Hudak holds a B.S. in psychology from Tulane University and is currently pursuing a Master of Legal Studies at Northeastern University.
